If you guys follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you’ll notice that I started posting a series of quotes and ideas called Nuggets. They are gathered from many different books, talks, and educational seminars I find valuable. The reason I am doing this is to remind myself and friends around me the ideas that are worth spreading, and sayings I try to live by every day. The road to success is long, and we all walk it day by day. The humdrum of the daily grind can cause us to lose focus on what’s important in life, whether it is a reminder to simply smile more, learn something new today or to be grateful for what we already have. Sometimes subtle reminders can change the course of the day > life.
Most of these nuggets are saying that have touched me personally and have a deeper meaning for me. If you find any of the Nuggets as valuable as it is for me, leave a comment below and let me know what you think! 🙂
“…Step by step you get ahead, but not necessarily in fast spurts. But you build discipline by preparing for fast spurts…. Slug it out one inch at a time, day by day. At the end of the day–if you live long enough–most people get what they deserve.” -Charlie Munger
